What Can We Learn From Nature?

I believe God talks to us in many ways.  One of them is through Nature.  Here is what I mean.  We all know that a rooster crowing is synonymous with the start of a new day, but what else could we learn from it?  When a rooster crows he does several things.  He puts his entire emotion into it by crowing as loud as he can.  It is like a lion’s roar.  He stands tall, struts a bit, and flaps his wings in shear confidence.   He also is very consistent with his morning crow.  In other words, he does not take a day off because he is not feeling up to it.  We too, should start our day with a ritualistic routine, fueled with emotions that makes us confident and ready to seize the day and not just exist in it.

Birds awake and sing in joy and praise for the new day, as should we!  It need not matter what a day bring forth, only that it is a new day that has been given to us.   Our ritual should include things that lift our spirits and bring joy to the process.

Dogs are another great example.  When your dog sees you begin to rise in the morning, it immediately gets excited that you are awake.  Your dog is extremely grateful that you are there and gives you your first dose of love.  We can learn from this.  We should start each day with gratitude, as fear cannot exist in the presence of gratitude and fear is one of the biggest derailers of success, so our morning ritual should counter it daily.  We should also make those closest to us feel loved as soon as they see us.

We go in depth on Gratitude in Chapter 2 of the book and Morning Rituals are covered in Chapter 13 which is on mastering habits.

These are just a few examples, so start paying attention to Nature and see what God is trying to teach you.

# VIGEO

Why Vigeo?

Every movement needs a motto, and we choose VIGEO.  The reason we chose VIGEO is because its translation uniquely covers several major drivers of success that we believe important.

VIGEO is a Latin word which has multiple translations associated:

To thrive

To flourish

To be vigorous

To be strong

To be effective

To be active

To be vigilant-watchful/attentive and alert

If you do not have all the qualities at play currently in your life, you certainly will have after starting the Divine Playbook.  Our goal is for our Divine Playbook students to make the letter “V” by holding 2 fingers of their right hand over their heart.  We want it over the heart for a few reasons.

  1. It takes heart to become a winner.
  2. It is with our heart that we love, and love is our most powerful emotion.
  3. Your heart is synonymous with life and you are starting your new life now!
  4. Motion and emotion create anchors, and this is going to be a success anchor for you. Any time you do the VIGEO movement, you will be reminding yourself and others to keep the qualities above at the for front and that you are in this to win!
  5. It demonstrates that you are not alone and that there are thousands of other Christians that are choosing to believe in themselves and take control of their divine destiny that awaits them. When you do the VIGEO movement you will know that others are right there with you and together we will not be stopped.  You will not be denied!
